Atlanta-based up and coming rock band 3R1Rocks on Thursday released their new single "I'm Not Waiting." The upbeat song, which is a cut from the band's debut EP A New Beginning is written by band member Don Schrock and is going for adds at radio on Christian AC and Christian Country-formatted radio outlets.

"The band is excited about the new single and the rest of the new music that we are releasing," Schrock says. "Our prayer is that our high energy Christian music will bring a loving and healing message that our hurting world needs today."

Launching their latest effort, the band says they are committed to following a God-directed path, quoting Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your path."

"The songs [on A New Beginning] are full of truth and healing," the group says. "Our world is in desperate need of the only truth we can depend on. We covet your prayers and ask you to join with us as we move forward in our 'new beginning!'"

3R1Rocks says on their Facebook page that they will soon announce new dates for the national debut of their latest EP and music video for "I'm Not Waiting" on Dove Broadcasting's "Niteline" and WATC's "Atlanta Live," having originally been scheduled for June 1 and June 8 appearances respectively. 3R1Rocks is asking fans to stay tuned.

Formed in 1999, 3R1Rocks is a veteran band that has released numerous projects, appeared on television and enjoyed both AM and FM radio airplay. The band has previously also been selected through a national competition to participate in the Atlanta Fest Christian Music competitions. The band's current lineup consists of Schrock, Janice Minette, Don Minette, and Celestial Joy Smith.
