Canadian artist and singer-songwriter Jordan St.Cyr is releasing his new single "Victory" to U.S. Christian radio outlets. Going for adds Tuesday at Christian AC and Christian CHR radio, the song was released to Canadian radio in 2017 where it made frequent appearances on the national radio chart.
Inspired by the story of David and Goliath, "Victory" speaks about the assurance for all believers that the battle belongs to the Lord, and that victory can ultimately be found in Jesus.
St.Cyr was recently named Artist of the Year at the 1st Annual Christian International Talent Contest, ChristianTalentContest.com, sponsored by CM United. His single "In My Lifetime" has also garnered international attention and won the singer-songwriter first place in the Nashville-based Unsigned Only competition, which is judged by artists such as Bart Millard from MercyMe, David Crowder, and Aaron Schust.
St.Cyr was also named the 2017 Nashville Rising Star winning songwriter and is currently touring across Canada. He is currently nominated for Spiritual Artist of the Year at this year's Western Canadian Music Awards (WCMAs).
Originally from Niverville, Manitoba in Canada, St.Cyr has spent quality time in Nashville working with top music industry professionals, including Ben Calhoun, who is the frontman for Citizen Way, and Micah Kuiper, lead guitarist for Hawk Nelson, who co-produced a number of St.Cyr's songs, including the hit "In My Lifetime."
Speaking about the recent music video for "In My Lifetime," which can be viewed below, St.Cyr said in a post on social media, "This song is a reminder for all of us that in the midst of our greatest fear God can do big things. We had so much fun making this video. I hope you enjoy it."
