Apart from retaining the top position in the iTunes Christian & Gospel Album charts for a whole week, the third album by Housefires is also garnering a lot of praise and positive reviews from mainstream media outlets.

It has been quite a successful debut for the "Housefires III," which also topped SoundScan Praise & Worship, landed second on the UK Official Christian & Gospel Albums, ranked third on Billboard Top Christian/Gospel Albums, and sixth on the overall iTunes Album Chart.

Coincidentally, "Good, Good Father," the seminal anthem on "Housefires II," received Dove Award nominations for Song of the Year and Worship Song of the Year. The nominations were announced the same week that the "Housefires III" was released.

The Christian Beat said Housefires showed a lot of maturity on their third album compared to their previous works. This will only benefit the listeners who will surely appreciate the "moving music and powerful lyrics."

CCM Magazine said that, while the group is best known for "Good, Good Father," there are several songs such as "Build My Life" or "On and On" on "Housefires III" that could really make the group a household name among Christians around the country.

The band said in anticipation of the "Housefires III" launch that they have no other objective than to "create space for the Spirit of God to move."

"Our hope is that these songs would spark fires that burn bright in ordinary houses all over the world," the band said.
