Christian artist Jesse Pruett's new song "Beautiful" is being prominently featured on Lionsgate Entertainment's DVD of the classic, newly reimagined animated family film Pinocchio which just released to conventional retailers as well as online retailers. The song is a cut from Pruett's recent full-length album The Journey which was released last month and Is also featured on the official Pinocchio movie trailer and soundtrack.
"It is an honor to have 'Beautiful' in Pinocchio, and I am super grateful," says Pruett. "This is a classic movie for the whole family. My hope is that all who hear the song will know that they are beautiful, that God loves them, that they are not alone and there is always hope."
No stranger to the film industry, Pruett has appeared in more than 20 films alongside such celebrated actors as Robert De Niro, Sylvester Stallone, Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson, Liam Hemsworth, and John Cusack, as well as six film roles opposite Bruce Willis, and is also active behind the camera in the realm of film scoring, having put score to two films to date and having music credits on 30+ film and television projects.
Pinocchio has earned the Dove Seal of Approval from the Dove Foundation, calling it a "wonderful family film," and features the voice talents of Johnny Orlando, Ambyr Childers, and Jon Heder and is rated PG. The film is available from retail outlets, including Walmart, and fans can also access the film via digital download and Video on Demand from services such as iTunes, Vudu, and DirecTV.
