2016 MacBook Pro Release Date News, Rumors: Apple Company Sending Out Invitations For Oct. 27 Event
Apple has already started sending out invites to its October 27 event at its headquarters in Cupertino, California, where the 2016 MacBook Pro release date is expected to be announced, the latest news reports suggests.
The invite card itself is quite cryptic. There's the iconic Apple logo but it's flushed with a myriad of hues, and it's partly covered by a black haze.
There's also the phrase, "hello again," at the bottom of the logo, which is obviously an homage to the first ad when Apple was introduced in 1984, with the single word, "hello."
The Oct. 27 event is scheduled for 10 a.m. Pacific Time.
However, the invite did not specify whether indeed the 2016 MacBook Pro release date will be announced. Tech news sites, however, are fairly united in claiming that something big is being cooked up for the laptop lineup
According to Express, a 13-inch and 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro is expected to be unveiled at the event. There were several rumors regarding its specs including an OLED touchscreen display (with fingerprint sensor), slimmer aluminum case, and bigger ForceTouch trackpad.
Recode, meanwhile, was more resolute: the 2016 MacBook Pro release date will be on Oct. 27 in time for the Apple event. Quoting sources, the website said that Apple is taking advantage of the upcoming holiday season to prop up sales for the new product.
It also said the release date for the 2016 MacBook Pro is overdue considering the news last month about the release of macOS Sierra, which will be showcased by this new product.
