'50 Shades of Grey' Movie Cast Rumors / Matt Bommer, Ian Somerhalder, Henry Caville to Play Christian Grey? Charlie Hunnam Off the Project

The 50 Shades of Grey cast rumors continue!

Now that once-confirmed Christian Grey, Charlie Hunnam is off the project, the Internet is buzzing with speculation over who will play the sex-crazed seducer in the upcoming movie adaptation of E.L. James' raunchy novel 50 Shades of Grey.

Fans of the book have already made it clear some of the potential actors they'd want to see cast as Grey. Matt Bomer, Ian Somerhalder and Henry Cavill all top the list as leads for the role

Fans have even posted homemade trailers featuring mashups of the actors in steamy scenes from some of their previous movies.

Ian Somerhalder is even on record saying he'd love to take on the role. It would be, to my knowledge, Somerhalder's first major role on screen. Will E.L. James take a chance on the Vampire Diaries star. His tween demographic might still be a little too young for the steamy content.

But how can you not cast Superman. Cavill made a name for himself Man of Steel, the first good Superman movie in a while. He's got the body and a hint of British debonair that could fit Christian Grey to a tee.

Either way Dakota Johnson is still confirmed as Anastasia Steele. So there's that.
