Christian rock band 7eventh Time Down spoke to BreatheCast on the red carpet of the K-LOVE Fan Awards 2014.

"I'm super excited for tonight. Look at the crowd, this is amazing. It's a little overwhelming, it's kind of hot but it's totally awesome. I'm grateful to be standing here," Mikey Howard said to BC when describing the night's festivities.

The lead singer was looking forward to seeing his friends perform and taking in the music.

"I'm ready to see all the bands play tonight. I have some friends in a small band called the Newsboys, and they're going to be jamming out to my favorite song tonight."

The band recently released a single off of their Just Say Jesus record which came out on September 3, 2013. The album reached No. 11 on the Heatseekers chart and was a top 16 Christian album.

"Yeah, we're just coming off our latest single 'Just Say Jesus,' and that's done really well for us to make a lot of new friends, and a lot of new fans. We have a brand new single coming out the 18th of July, and we're just super excited to see where it takes us," he said.
