THE SCOOP ON A&E's American Drama Series "Bates Motel" Returns for it's Second Season 2014

A&E'S American drama series "Bates Motel" developed by Carlton Cuse, Kerry Ehrin, and Anthony Cipriano is the prequel spinoff to the 1960s film "Psycho". After the death of Norma Bates husband she and her sons Norman Bates, and Dylan Bates purchase a motel in Coastal Oregon so they can begin a new life.

Filmed in Aldergrove, British Columbia and Canada the first season aired this past March 18th and on April 8, 2013 A&E renewed "Bates Motel" for season 2. The second season is set to premiere sometime in 2014 with production being held during the summer months of July and August of 2013.

Above was a look inside season one's final episode. During the finale of season one Norman finally went nuts and caught his first body from the looks of it, but we're not too sure who murdered Miss Watson.  Miss Watson brought Norman back to her house and she went into her room to switch out of her clothes.

In the midst of Miss Watson changing out of her clothes Norman had a vision of mom punishing the teacher for being a bad woman, and then we see him take off running in the rain down the street.

Also, we see Norma and stepson Dylan bonding over guns as she asks him to teach her to shoot, Norman gets beat up by Bradley's ex-boyfriend, and Norma confessing that she was repeatedly raped by her brother as a teenager.

Things just keep getting better and better with in the series. Season 2 will be introducing new characters Caleb (Norma's estranged brother) and Zane (Drug dealer). Unfortunately, there is no set date for series to be aired, but it will be sometime in 2014. As always STAY TUNED.
