ABC's 'Scandal' Episode 5, aired last night as Olivia and her team fight to save the privacy of Congresswoman's (Lisa Kudrow) personal life as the press begins to dig deep  into the disapperance of her child. Congresswoman Josephine Marus was fifteen when she had her baby girl and her mother thought it was best to keep the child within the family. That said, the child grew up thinking that her mother, Congresswoman Josephine, was actaully her sister. In hopes of keeping the secret, Congresswoman hires Pope and her team. Meanwhile, the President digs deeper into B613 only to have Cyrus warn him that if he digs too deep he may end up like President John F. Kennedy. Barely moved by what he said, Fitz decides to call Jake up and have a little basketball game to see who is the superior one, when Jake refuses to talk about Olivia Pope.

In Episode 5, Pope and her associates go to the election with Congresswoman Josephine as she is cornered with questions about her child. Pope insists that she tells the world the truth about the baby in order to get more votes and backing behind the women of America. The Congresswoman follows her orders only to fire Olivia Pope after the meeting because she ruined her life and the releationship that she had with her daughter, which was actually her campaign manager. Olivia's head is still focused on the White House dinner as Fitz still hasn't called her for the bits of jokes that he'll say at the correspondant dinner, so  she tell's Jake to take her in hopes of seeing Fitz. As the correspondant dinner is ending, Olivia gets called back to a room where she believes Fitz is waiting for her, but when she opens the door it is actually the First Lady. Mellie and Olivia come to an agreement that Pope will come back to help the Pesident win his re-election because supposedly Fitz needs her to basically live and breath. As Episode 5 comes to an end, Fitz is shown talking to Pope's dad about B613,  when Jake and Huck arrive at Olivia's door with some detrimental information. 

Episode 6, shows us that "Scandal" is going to be a wild ride here on out with Huck and Jake potentially finding out that Fitz was in charge of a plane crash that left many people dead including Olivia's mother. Was the President in on B613? The sneak peek also show's Olivia breaking down as everything she thought was true begins to fall apart around her. What do you think will happen in Episode 6 ?
