'Agent Carter' Air Date, Spoilers: Double Episode Premiere on ABC

Fans of 'Agent Carter' will be happy to hear that sources are beginning to release details and spoilers about the upcoming Marvel series. On that note, an 'Agent Carter' double episode event will be aired on January 6 via ABC network.

The first of the two episodes is entitled "Now is Not the End" - in this episode, Peggy is contacted by old acquaintance Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper, Marvel's 'Captain America: The First Avenger') when he is framed for unleashing his deadliest weapons and can trust no one else.

In order to assist Peggy in clearing Stark's name, he insists that his butler, Edwin Jarvis, be at her beck and call-whether she likes it or not. However, this will not come without some risks because, if caught, Agent Carter could be targeted as a traitor which would mean spending the rest of her days in prison.

The second episode is "Bridge and Tunnel" - in this, it will be revealed how Howard Stark's deadliest weapon falls into the hands of the enemy, and only Agent Carter can recover it. The question is - can she do so before her undercover mission is discovered by SSR Chief Dooley and Agent Thompson?

After its two-hour premiere, Agent Carter continues with Episode 3 entitled "Time & Tide" - this was written by Andi Bushell and directed by Scott Winant.

Hayley Atwell of 'Captain America' fame stars in the series as Peggy Carter, she has with her Dominic Cooper in the role of Howard Stark.

Other cast members include Shea Whigham ('Boardwalk Empire') as SSR chief Roger Dooley and Enver Gjokaj ('Dollhouse') and Chad Michael Murray ('One Tree Hill') as SSR agents Daniel Sousa and Jack Thompson. James D'Arcy ('Master and Commander') will be seen in the role of Howard Stark's butler, notable Marvel comics character Edwin Jarvis.
