Amazon's New Show "Alpha House" Streams Live Tonight for Show Premiere

Online retailer Amazon has jumped on the "original content" train along with Netflix to provide consumers a brand new show called "Alpha House." The show is a political satire sitcom that takes "Animal House" humor and applies it to a political setting. The series actors include John Goodman, Matt Malloy, Mark Consuelos, Clark Johnson.

One thing worth pointing out about this show is that it looks and feels exactly like real cable TV. The show is only available over Amazon Prime, but it could easily be mistaken for a TBS or NBC show. Some critics were concerned that Amazon would not put the required amount of money into it to make it a legit program, but Amazon got the cast and crew right with "Alpha House."

One of the most exciting things about "Alpha House" is that it doesn't shy away from picking specific aspects of political parties or hot button issues and making fun of them. Unlike HBO's hilarious Veep, "Alpha House" challenges issues like gun control and the Tea Party in favor of non-partisan issues.
