Amazing Spider-Man 2, X-Men Days of Future Past, and The Hobbit There and Back Again, Sequels Look to Make 2014 the Year of Blockbuster's

The Amazing Spider-Man 2, X-Men: Days of Future Past, and The Hobbit: There and Back Again are arriving to theaters this year, making 2014 a banner year for blockbuster films.

The top 5 movies that wowed audiences in 2013 were all sequels: Iron Man 3, Despicable Me 2, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Fast & Furious 6, and Monsters University. If 2013 is any indication of how well films do in the box office, Iron Man 3 records could be shattered by some of this year's Blockbuster films.

The Hobbit: There and Back Again is the latest film from the Lord of the Rings prequel trilogy, The Hobbit.

The first two films in The Hobbit trilogy were The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012) and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013).

Actor Martin Freeman leads the star studded cast as the protagonist Bilbo Baggins. The latest Hobbit film based on J. R. R. Tolkien's classic literature will amaze movie audiences on Dec. 17, 2014.

Former Academy Award Winner Russell Crowe stars as one of the greatest Old Testament heroes in the new movie titled Noah. The movie is based on the first book of the Bible, Genesis. It also stars Crowe's, A Beautiful Mind co-star, Jennifer Connelly as Noah's wife.

The film depicting the Noah's ark story arrives in theaters on March 28, 2014.

With the additions of new sequels like Captain America: The Winter Storm (starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson) and Hunger Games: Mockinjay Part 1 (starring Jennifer Lawrence), 2014 will be a year to remember in films.
