Amazon Publishing announced the unveiling of a new Christian company called Waterfall Press that will emphasizes on distributing faith-based romance and mystery titles to Christian shoppers.
The deal was revealed yesterday, and will also contain Brilliance Publishing. Brilliance Publishing is an Amazon company recognized for its production of audiobooks. This branch will now distribute the new faith-based products.
The debut titles targeting Christian book-lovers are expected to be released by the company.
Mark Buchanan's 'The Four Best Places to Live' book will be released next month. The book touches upon the astonishing truth on how the best areas to live are not based on weather and work opportunities, but instead on places to experience harmony and happiness, according to the Bible.
Popular, self-published novelist Cherie Hill's book, 'When You Need a Miracle' will be released in April. The book describes the major stages of faith a person needs when finding themselves at life's most difficult crossroads.
Jay Hein's book, 'The Quiet Revolution' will be released in June. Hein was the Director of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives during President George W. Bush's tenure. His book offers an insider's viewpoint on how presidents have rallied the American people to help their nation by volunteering in their own communities and the significance of improving lives of people worldwide.
Christianity Today also will be in charge of the publication for some of the titles, although editorial oversight of Waterfall Press will fall under Tammy Faxel, formerly of Tyndale House Publishers and Oasis Press.
