Amazon Music Unlimited News Update: Worthy Challenge Compared To Spotify And Apple Music?

The Amazon Music Unlimited was launched in the UK, at lesser cost compared to Spotify and Apple Music.

Subscribers to Apple Music and Spotify pay £9.99 a month, but those who are already registered with Amazon Prime or own the Amazon Echo and Echo Dot will pay £2 less per month, which translates to £79 annual fee.

There's also a free trial that will last for a month to help people navigate through the app services before deciding to subscribe to Amazon Music Unlimited.

According to Independent UK, the Amazon Music Unlimited is a worthy competitor to Spotify and Apple Music with over 40 million tracks in its digital library. What people should be excited about the streaming device, however, are the possibilities.

For instance, people can maximize the voice-controlled capability of the device by syncing the streaming app to the Echo or Echo Dot for an additional monthly fee of £3.99. Now, they can just tell the device to play a track, even an obscure one from the 70s or 80s.

"If you don't know the name of a song but know a few lyrics, if you want to hear songs from a specific decade, or even if you're looking for music to match your mood, just ask," CEO Jeff Bezos said.

In related news, Amazon Music Unlimited was launched in Germany and Austria as well, following its launch in the UK. People who might not know the title of the song can just tell Alexa, the voice assistant of Amazon, to play them a track depending on their mood.
