American Horror Story: Coven Airs New Episode "The Axeman Cometh"
American Horror Story: Coven aired its sixth episode this week titled, "The Axeman Cometh." This week's episode started off much like last week's with a flashback.
It's 1919 in New Orleans and the serial killer, Axeman is on the loose. Axeman places an ad in the newspaper warning the people of New Orleans that he's coming back and that anyone who plays Jazz will be axed.
The girls at Robichaux's academy are reading the paper and start to fear for their lives after reading the excerpt. They come together and start to form a plan of survival, but their leader informs them that they have nothing to fear.
On the night the Axeman arrives everyone in the city is playing Jazz records with the exception of the girls at the academy. Ironically the Axeman chooses their house to terrorize first. He makes his way upstairs into the leader's room where she is reading tarot cards. The music suddenly stops and the Axeman is preparing to make the witch his first victim, but the other witches appear and being stabbing him in the chest.
Back in the present time, Zoe is going through a box of Madison's belongings and a small bottle falls out of the box and begins to roll on the ground. The rolling bottle leads Zoe to the closet where she finds a secret compartment that's has a bunch of old pictures and a spirit board inside it.
Zoe takes the stashed items to Nan and Queenie. Queenie asks Zoe where she found the spirit board and Zoe says the board found her and that it's used to make contact with the dead. They all put the board to use, asking questions like; Are we alone? Did you die here? Were you murdered and who did it? The board responds back "You did" to the question of who murdered you. They soon find out that they are communicating with the Axeman.
