Everyone's favorite spooky TV show is back for its season 3 premiere just in time for Halloween. "American Horror Story" is unique in the sense that each season tells a different story than the last but the show retains a cast of the same actors. In season 3, which premieres on October 9^th, the cast will be portraying the "coven," a group of witches from the 1700s era-American south. Jessica Lange will play the head coven, or "supreme," charged with protecting the ways of the witches from outsiders.

"American Horror Story" has enjoyed strong ratings throughout the first two seasons, and season 3 should be no different. The premiere on October 9^th will kick off the fall show with some of the typical creepy images and scenes that "American Horror Story" is known for.
