Angie Miller Tour Dates Dec 2013, "American Idol" Star Doing 10 City U.S. Christmas Run with Michael W. Smith, SEE TOUR DATES HERE

Angie Miller, who came to fame on the last season of "American Idol" on FOX is gearing up for her first non-Idol related tour. Miller made it into the Top 3 at the end of the singing competition and became far and away the most popular singer on the show with her social media (twitter, instagram, facebook) accounts. 

Miller, who has been laying low the past couple of months and only performing locally, has great news for her fans who have been waiting to see her perform live across the U.S. She will be joining Michael W. Smith as a special guest on his 'Celebrate Christmas' 2013 holiday tour. 

Miller teased a December tour (off air) when she spoke with us last month. She also gave us the inside scoop on new music and where she is at with releasing an album. You can listen to our full interview with Angie Miller HERE. 

The upcoming tour will hit 10 cities across the U.S. kicking off Dec. 1 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and wrapping up Dec. 15 in Detroit, Michigan.

On Dec. 9 and 10 stops in Dallas, Smith with play with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, which has been an ongoing tradition for six years now. 

Angie Miller had this to say about joining Smith on tour, "I have looked up to Michael forever and have been singing his songs in church my whole life. I am incredibly honored to be on this tour with him now!"  

Along with Angie Miller, Smith will be sharing the stage with his good friends and popular band Third Day for the Dec 5, 6 and 7 shows.

Smith commented, "Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Christmas, so I always look forward to touring at Christmas. Having Angie Miller out with us will be a lot of fun. In addition to an incredible voice - she brings an excitement and enthusiasm to the shows that I think will be energizing. Christmas is special. It deserves to be celebrated and that's what we plan on doing!"
