The Apple Event for October is scheduled to take place today. Apple will be unveiling the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2. Apple will be live streaming the event online for everyone to see.

During the reveal Apple is rumored to be releasing the latest Macbooks; Mac Pro and OS X Mavericks.

The iPad 5 will have a series of upgrades and specs and will come with an A7X 64-bit chip processor, camera upgrade, thinner bezels and a screen resolution of 2,048 by 1,536 pixels.

The iPad 2 Mini 2 is said to be featuring one of two processors, the A7 dual-core or A6X Processor. It will have camera upgrades and retina display.

Both iPads will have new color options of gold, space gray, and silver along with the the Touch ID fingerprint sensor, but reports have recently hit the net denying those features.

The new Mac Pro release date is set for November 15, but the upgraded device may be previewed during the event. The updated MacBook Pros and OS X Mavericks are also scheduled for a fall release date.
