Apple iPad 5 "Air" Release Date. iPad 5 "Air" Features and Specs. No Pre-Orders for iPad 5 'Air'.

Apple's new iPad 5 was just announced to the public during the "Apple iPad Event" this week. The newer, sleeker, and thinner iPad is the fifth generation and supposedly the most improved. For the first time ever, Apple has made it impossible for consumers to pre-order the new iPad 5 'Air' prior to its original Nov. 1st release date. Apple announced two new iPad models on its release date this Tuesday, but they didn't mention when the pre-orders would be available, if they would be at all. Apple's main website clearly lacks the essentials to have consumers pre-order the product, so why now? Why the iPad 5 'Air'.

Apple has always been concerned about what the public eyes thinks of them, are they the most tech-savy company? Do they produce the most innovative phones, computers, etc? The iPad 5 'Air' is the fifth generation iPad, but what has really changed? The iPad 5 is thinner, lighter, and has more of a selection of colors to choose from. The iPad 5 'Air' is also supposed to have a better camera and a Touch ID system, where the iPad can turn on/off by your fingerprint, even allow the user to buy certain apps. Is this innovative enough? The Washington Post has even spoken on the lack of sales the iPad's have had the past few years stating, " the ipad has lost it's venner of cool". Press and Tv stations alike will be watching the lines and stores fill as November 1st comes around, and everyone is in line for the new iPad 5 'Air'. With no pre-orders, Apple has guranteed a busy, hectic, ordely release of the new iPad 5 "Air". What are your opinions on the no pre-order rule? Is it for the best, or is Apple really losing it's modern edge? For more information on the iPad 5 go here
