Apple iPad 5 Launch Event Date Oct 22, 2013: See Specs, Details & What New Products Can We Expect from the Tech Giant

Apple's next launch event is set for Tuesday (Oct. 22) in San Francisco. 

The iPad 5 is one big unveil that the tech giant will show off. It is expected to come with a 9.7 inch screen and Apple's powerful 64-bit A7 chip. There will be options of a 32GB, 64GB, 128GB iPads and potentially even the addition of a new 256GB model to add a new 'wow' factor with the flash capacity. The iPhone 5S came out with a 128GB option, which leads to believe they can bump up the iPad 5 specs. They also could be adding the Touch ID fingerprint sensing technology to the new iPad 5. 

So what else will they show off besides the new iPad 5? Apple always puts out new updates and new toys before the holiday season to give tech lovers more options for gift giving. 

Here are the products that could be unveiled: iPad Mini 2, new iPods, OS X Mavericks, a New Macbook Pro, Updated Macbook Pros & Mnis, updated Apple TV.
