Apple iPhone 5S and 5C Rumors / September 10, 2013 Keynote

The Apple iPhone 5s will include a number of compelling new features including a fingerprint scanner according to the Wall Street Journal.  The fingerprint sensor will add an additional level of security to the Apple iPhone 5s and will distinguish it from the iPhone 5.  Other iPhone 5s rumors include a convex home button that will extend outward and a more efficient dual-LED flash.  The iPhone 5s will be available in champagne gold and graphite along with the original colors of black and white.

The most exciting aspect of the iPhone 5s is the revamped internal design of the device.  The iPhone 5s will sport 2GB of Ram, which is double the amount featured on the iPhone 5, and it will all run on the new and improved iOS 7 software.  Other rumors include the possibility of a larger battery, improved camera, and a better 4G LTE radio.

The Wall Street Journal claims that the fingerprint scanner will be available only on the more expensive of the two iPhones Apple will reveal today, which indicates that the iPhone 5c will be unveiled as well.  The iPhone 5c is a cheaper, more customizable version of the iPhone 5 that comes in many different colors.  The most important area of interest surrounding the iPhone 5c is it's price tag.  There is speculation that it will be priced around $400, which would make it significantly cheaper than the iPhone 5s.
