According to heavy speculations Apple will be releasing a new device this year most likely to be called the iPhone 5s or the iPhone 6. Apple has released a new iPhone model every year during the summer or fall season, so that's the one piece to this puzzle that we can consider accurate. The iPhone 5 came out September 2012, the iPhone 4s released in October 2011, and the previous versions also were released during the summer.

It is said that the iPhone will make its debut during a September 10^th media event.  With the release of iOS 7 there will for sure be a new addition to the iPhone family, but the big question is will it be the 5s or 6. The norm is to have 2 versions of a per generation I.E. iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s and being that the iPhone 5 was just released last year should we expect the newest release to be the 5s?

The difference we will see between the 5s or 6 is of course serious upgrades and a new style of phone. With the 5s we can expect an iPhone similar to the iPhone 5, DUH! As far as upgrades go, what can us iPhone users expect? Thus far everything is a rumor, but one upgrade could possibly be the password protection. I've heard rumors of a thumbprint scanner on the home button and talks of face recognition software.
