Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag Release Date News: Watch the Trailer for the Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag November 1^st Release Date [TRAILER]

The hit video game series Assassin's Creed is back with the fourth installation of the series. This time, the user plays a pirate set in colonial times. Ubisoft's official description reads, "Born a slave, Adewale found freedom as a pirate aboard the Jackdaw as Captain Edward Kenway's second-in-command. Fifteen years later, Adewale has become a trained assassin and finds himself shipwrecked in Saint-Domingue with no weapon nor crew, starting a new adventure of his own."

Assassinscreed.wikia.com provides some insight into how the game will be played in comparison to the gameplay of the other Assassins Creed titles. They write, "About 60% of the game will take place on land; players can explore 50 locations ranging from fisherman villages, plantations, jungles, forts, islands, Mayan ruins and exotic Coconut Islands. Furthermore, there are around 75 beaches and sandbanks, which can hold various treasures and marooned sailors to add to Edward's crew. Other activities include hunting, harpooning and exploring underwater environments. The game aims to blend between its land and aquatic experiences seamlessly, to the point where players can simply dive off Edward's shop, swim to the shore and explore the land, as well as dive under the surface to loot underwater shipwrecks. Ubisoft also mentioned that 'exploration is the key' and would be the focus point in Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag."
