In chapter 88, fans will witness the power of the nine titans diminish. According to reports, the lifespan of these titans will also be slashed to just around 13 years. However, it remains to be seen if this reduction in their lifespan will happen as soon as they inherited their powers or only when they use their powers for the first time.

In the case of Kruger/ Owl, he inherited his power 13 years ago. If the theories are true, then that means he only has a short time left to live in "Attack on Titan" chapter 88. Some fans speculate that this is true, especially because he already started coughing blood in the previous chapter. This started happening to him when he eliminated the Marley soldiers deployed at the border.
