'Attack On Titan' Season 2 Spoilers, News & Update: Upcoming Season To Cover 'Clash of the Titans,' 'The Uprising' Story Arcs
Considering all the surprising developments in Hajime Isayama's "Attack on Titan" manga, it looks like fans have a lot of exciting things to look forward to in the upcoming season of the anime series.
Unfortunately, if Madhouse Entertainment will follow the pace and storytelling style of the manga, then the latest events in the source material will not pan out in "Attack of Titan" season 2.
Fans are worried that if the upcoming season of the anime will consist of just 25 episodes, it will not cover the "Return to Shiganshina" story arc, which reveals a lot about the existence of humanity, what lies behind the walls and where the Titans got their power.
Season 1 consisted of 25 episodes and covered all the 36 chapters of the first four arcs of the manga. If season 2 will also cover 36 chapters of the manga, then the next two story arcs namely "Clash of the Titans" and "The Uprising" will be covered, since "Clash of Titans" consists of 16 chapters while "The Uprising" consists of 20 chapters.
Since both "Clash of Titans" and "The Uprising" are eventful story arcs, fans can expect the upcoming season of "Attack on Titan" to deliver exciting action sequences as well.
"Clash of the Titans" follows the 104th Training Corps as they deal with the Titans that broke into the Wall Rose. On the other hand, "The Uprising" chronicles the kidnaping of Eren and Historia, which will shed light on the history of the Reiss family.
"Attack on Titan" season 2 is expected to premiere sometime in 2017.
