'Avengers 2: Age of Ultron' Release Date, Spoilers: Tony Stark's Peacekeeping Project Jarvis Gone Wrong?
'Avengers 2: Age of Ultron', the second installment to what Marvel Studios calls the "biggest superhero movie of all time," is set to premiere on May 1, 2015
On that note, Marvel just released the official summary for the highly anticipated movie, which features some of their greatest superheroes - Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye.
The official summary states that a chaos starts when Tony Stark, aka Iron Man (played by no other than Robert Downey, Jr.) tries to jumpstart an inactive project originally intended for peacekeeping missions. It ends up going wrong and leaves every 'Avengers' super hero with the grueling task of saving the world from an ultra-powerful villain named Ultron.
Based on what the summary suggests, Ultron might be the dormant peacekeeping project that Stark intended to jumpstart. Previous reports stated that Ultron might be Jarvis (Stark's faithful artificial intelligence servant). While the storyline and certain details about the film have been kept underwraps, that idea has not yet been founded.
On that note, the fact that Paul Bettany will lend his voice to Jarvis and James Spader to Ultron suggests that the chance of this happening is highly unlikely.
What is known, however, is that Ultron will possess powers that will put the entire human race in jeopardy, putting the 'Avengers' in an arduous mission of saving the world, which ultimately leads to Ultron's demise.
'Avengers 2: Age of Ultron' is written and directed by James Whedon, and the cast is headed by Robert Downey Jr. (as Tony Stark and Iron Man), Chris Evans (who plays Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (returning as Thor), Mark Ruffalo (playing The Hulk), Scarlett Johansson (portraying the Black Widow), and Jeremy Renner (as the Hawkeye).
