‘Avengers 2: Age Of Ultron’ Spoilers: Death of Popular Avengers Superhero? Captain America's Demise?
Rumors have been circulating that the sequel to the box office hit movie 'Avengers' will feature the death of one of Marvel's most popular heroes. The rumors started when Joss Whedon, the movie's director and screenwriter, reportedly said that what fans should expect from 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron' is "Death, Death and Death."
While the writer's comments were not taken completely seriously, some people believe that there may be some truth behind the Whedon's words. Speculation has come about that maybe one of the Avengers might die.
Fans suspect that the hero that might die on the upcoming movie is Captain America, due to a display found at a recent event.
Marvel apparently likes to use props from its upcoming movies to tease fans, and it used Captain America's shield during Comic Con 2104. The catch is, the superhero's almost indestructible shield was displayed broken and cracked into pieces.
Although the prop may be taken as a clue to Captain America's impending death, reports say that it may simply be a hint about the arrival of Black Panther, a character who gave a replacement Vibranium shield to Captain America.
Meanwhile, some of the superheroes may be sporting a new look for the upcoming movie.
Reports say that Captain America will have a new suit for two of his upcoming movies, 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' and 'Captain America 3'.
It is said that Captain America, along with Thor and Hawkeye, may sport costumes that resemble those from the 'Ultimate Marvel' series.
'Avengers: Age of Ultron' stars Chris Evans, James Spader, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, and Samuel L. Jackson.
The movie, which is directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, will hit the theaters on May 1, 2015.
