'Avengers: Infinity War' Teaser, Cast News: Filming Kicks Off Soon; Movie To Feature Elements Of 'Infinity Gauntlet' Comic Series
Production for the highly anticipated "Avengers: Infinity War" is kicking off soon, and recent reports suggest that it will shoot back-to-back with the fourth "Avengers" film which does not have a title yet.
This week, Marvel co-president Louis D'Esposito revealed a photo of the cover to the "Infinity Gauntlet" comic series, showing an interesting teaser for the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War" film. The teaser, which he posted on Twitter, came with a simple yet intimidating message for fans.
The most interesting part of D'Esposito's tweet was that the "Infinity Gauntlet" series was the very first chapter in the crossover, with "Infinity War" being the second. Considering that, it looks like fans will be able to see some elements of both "Infinity Gauntlet" and "Infinity War" playing out in the upcoming movie.
The "Infinity Gauntlet" comics series focuses on the story of Thanos, who assembles the mythical glove with the Infinity Gems and turns the entire Marvel Universe upside down. This turning of the Marvel Universe reaches to the point of completely eradicating some of the heroes, thus forcing all the remaining heroes to gather together with Adam Warlock in order to take Thanos down.
In the "Infinity War," the story starts with Adam Warlock removing the good and evil inside of him to turn into a being of pure logic.
Considering how good Marvel Studios is in adapting fan-favorite storylines into films, fans can expect "Avengers: Infinity War" to be truly worth the wait. The film is set to hit theaters on May 4, 2018.
