‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ PS4, Xbox One, PC Release Date, Gameplay Review
The Caped Crusader is gearing up to defend Gotham City from the Joker and his gang in the upcoming title, 'Batman: Arkham Knight', set to be released June 2, 2015.
Batman will have his hands full as several villains will be out to get him including Harley Quinn, Penguin, Scarecrow, Two-Face, and a new villain- the Arkham Knight.
'Batman: Arkham Knight' is the last installment in the Batman Arkham Series which includes 'Batman: Arkham Asylum' and 'Batman: Arkham City'.
It is an action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios in collaboration with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
The head of character design at Rocksteady promises seamless gameplay and spectacular graphics with the game.
Trusted Reviews had this to say about it, "It's all about seamless transitions in Arkham Knight, and you can even glide straight into grates and crawl into enemy bases with the push of a button, rather than having to make several individual commands. It all feels a lot more natural."
'Batman: Arkham Knight' offers new features like bigger buildings which makes maneuvering around the city more challenging, something not seen in the previous games.
The game provides visually stunning and realistic images as well. Batman's cape gets wet when it rains, and stained with dirt and blood after combat.
Fight scenes in 'Arkham Knight' were reported to be smooth and unparalleled. Rocksteady made the gameplay more finessed and simple- players can enter into a battle without having to push several buttons to make perform various moves.
Players can now dive through glass windows or skylights into a fight and shoot straight out of the Batmobile into battle using the ejector seat.
The Batmobile, which debuts in the Arkham series for the first time, doubles as a car and a strategic weapon.
The Batmobile has two modes in the game, the "Pursuit" mode for chasing enemies as quick as possible and the "Battle" mode, gearing up the car with armor and heavy weapons like rubber bullets for taking out guards, or bigger cannons, used for bigger and stronger enemies like military tanks.
The previous game in the series was launched on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC last March. This time the new game will come out on PS4 and Xbox One.
