Batman Arkham Origins Collector's Edition Release Date: Trailer Reveals Gameplay and Villains / Review [TRAILER] [VIDEO]

Gamers everywhere are buzzing about the October 25^th release date of Batman Arkham Origins. The game is available for Wii, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC. Overall, the game has been a critical and commercial success for Warner Brothers Interactive Development due to a widely viewed trailer and addictive, yet complex gameplay.

Kyle Orland from Arstechnica.com wrote, "There's one new addition to Origins that threatens to break the balance of the entire system. About halfway through the story, Batman acquires a pair of shock gloves that slowly charge over the course of a fight, eventually letting Batman unleash powerful electric attacks. These shock glove punches can break through the defenses of even the most powerful enemies, letting the player ignore most of the dodging and distracting strategies they've built up in favor of mainly jamming on the X button to clear out the surroundings."

Some critics worry that the addition of the shock gloves will upset the delicate balance that Batman Arkham Origins has established over the years.

Orland finishes with, "Overall, it's hard to complain about a game that just mimics one of the best open-world games of its generation to a tee. Batman Arkham Origins packs in everything that was enjoyable about Arkham City."
