In line with Rocksteady Studios' "Batman Arkham" VR, the game is reportedly the last "Batman" game the studio is set to make.

In an interview with Eurogamer, Rocksteady producer Dax Ginn aid that they were definitely letting go of that comfort blanket and putting ourselves in the position where whatever they did next was going to feel very different.

As cited by The Tech 52, Ginn added that there was a feeling in their office that it was definitely time to do something else, which they all accepted. The director mentioned that there was always an anxiety associated with change and that was where they wanted to be, adding that they wanted to feel uncomfortable, since they wanted to make awesome stuff.

Ginn also said that they had submitted "Batman VR" to Sony last week, which had been an awesome experience. Ginn added that one of the developers had celebrated the game going gold by dressing up in a gold spandex suit and bringing in a golden boom box.

According to Ginn, they had proven that they were a hardworking team, since they worked well together and they could really decide what was best creatively for their own destiny.

As per Den of Geek, Rocksteady Studios is set to move on to its next project. According to the publication, the studio is rumored to create either a "Superman" or a "Justice league" game. It is added that while the studio evoked remorse about leaving the dark Knight's realm, it also expressed optimism on its future.

"Batman: Arkham" VR is set to arrive for the PlayStation 4 in October.
