'Batman vs Superman' to Feature the Largest Batsuit Fans Have Yet to See

In an effort to separate itself from the popular Christopher Nolan/Christian Bale Dark Night Trilogy, director Zack Snyder is tweaking the Batsuit in the upcoming Batman vs. Superman movie.

To fit Ben Affleck's increasingly bulked-up body, the Man of Steel sequel could feature the largest suit for the caped crusader fans have ever seen.

Filmmaker and resident super hero guru Kevin Smith said he couldn't restrain himself after he saw the suit back in November.

"I don't want to give anything away cause that is up to them and stuff, but I am going to say this...I instantly bear hugged [director Zack Snyder]. You have not seen this costume in film before," Smith revealed on the Hollywood Babble-On podcast.

"For a comic book fan, it was mind-bending...Because every other movie has done this Matrix-y black armor thing. There wasn't a single nipple," Smith gushed. "We haven't been down this path before."

Smith went on to say it would be "very Jim Lee influence." Lee has designed several looks for the Dark Knight over the years. ComicBook.com says Affleck's Batman will most likely be wearing a grey suit instead of the typical black color from previous films.

Man of Steel 2 is scheduled to hit theaters July 17, 2015.
