'Batman vs Superman' Movie Cast Rumors and News: Kevin Spacey Says Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor Is 'A Great Idea'
Several admirers have been taking pictures with "Batman vs. Superman" actor Henry Cavill as he waits for filming to begin in Detroit. The "Man of Steel 2" star has been working out with his personal trainer, Mark Twight in Michigan to return as Superman in the sequel. The Henry Cavill News Web site has been posting a lot of these photos online.
According to reports, Henry Cavill News founder, Yvette Caballero has recently discussed about her meetings with the actor and she only has nice words to say about him.
"He is very nice. I will not mention names but everyone is not like that," said Caballero in an IB Times article adding. "Henry is very approachable even when he is on his own time. People will talk to him and he will have a beer with you. I think that is part of the reason why people are interested in him. If anyone asks for a picture, he will do it. He will take it."
According to IB Times, the farm where Clark Kent / Superman's childhood home is allegedly ready and will be used for a lot of scenes in the "Batman vs. Superman" movie. In addition, the film will feature some of Cavill's former co-stars such as Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White) and Diane Lane (Martha Kent). Furthermore, new actors will also appear in the new Warner Bros. film, including Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.
When Jesse Eisenberg was announced to as Lex Luthor in the upcoming "Batman vs Superman" movie, the news had a mixed response by fans online.
However, Kevin Spacey is an expert on the subject and has recently voice his views on the recent decision by director Zack Snyder.
Spacey formerly played the criminal mastermind in "Superman Returns" back in 2006. He spoke to Empire magazine on various topics including the controversial casting of the young actor.
"I think [Jesse Eisenberg] is a remarkable actor. He's just going to f***ing own it. I think it's a great idea and I wish him the best with it," said Spacey in a recent interview with Empire Magazine.
The "Batman vs. Superman" movie will appear in theaters on May 6, 2016.
