'Bayonetta 2' News & Update: Game Celebrates Second Anniversary With An Amiibo?
In line with "Bayonetta 2's" second anniversary, a new figure is set to come.
According to "Bayonetta 2" director Yusuke Hashimoto, as cted by Platinum Games, "Bayonetta 2" is set to commemorate its second year with an amiibo. He assured players that they were going to capture what players knew and loved about Bayonetta, such as the exact sizes of her glasses and eyes; an amiibo that would meet players' every expectation.
As per Hashimoto, it marks the first time a character from a game he had directed had been made into a figure. The director also said that he was shocked by how well Bayonetta's essence had been shrunk down to suit in the plam of players' hands. He added that it was a dream come true to see the character battling along with "storied" and "beloved" characters, such as Fox McCloud and Mario in "Smash Bros."
"I'm really looking forward to the full unveiling of the Bayonetta amiibo, and I hope you're as excited as I am," Hashimoto said.
According to Forbes, "Bayonetta 2" was released in Japan in 2016; however, Hashimoto was pertaining to the West's later street dates when it comes to the game's anniversary. As per the publication, it is to make the amiibo's release schedule sound earlier to that. With the game's combat system, it is assumed to provide players a dynamic and engaging gaming experience.
Released in 2014, "Bayonetta 2" is playable on the Nintendo Wii U.
