Beatles Reunion at the 2014 GRAMMY's? Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr to Get Life Time Achievement Award

The Beatles will be honored at the 2014 Grammy Awards as surviving members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will be presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 56th Annual ceremony, sparking rumors of a high-profile reunion.

Airing Sunday Jan. 26, the GRAMMYS announced that both Starr and McCartney are slated to perform. The press release on the Grammys' website lists the performers names separately, but music fans from around the world are hoping it in fact means the two will share the stage together again.

The catalog of GRAMMY performers also include: Taylor Swift, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kendrick Lamar, Robin Thicke, and Katy Perry, Sara Bareilles will sing with Carole King, while Stevie Wonder, Daft Punk, Nile Rodgers, and Pharrell will perform together. Metallica, Chicago, and Willie Nelson are among the many musicians who will take the stage during CBS' broadcast.

The music world will also be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' arrival in America next month. The Late Show with David Letterman is holding a "Beatles Week" beginning Feb. 3, and, they are hoping to have the pair reunite on the show on Feb. 7 as well. Letterman's program shoots in the Ed Sullivan Theater, the same studio where the Beatles made their legendary first appearance in 1964.

The show will tape on Monday, Jan. 27, the day after the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards and air exactly 50 years to the date, and time of the original event. It will Feature today's top artists such as four-time GRAMMY winner Annie Lennox and GRAMMY winner Dave Stewart reuniting as Eurythmics for that night only; 14-time GRAMMY winner Alicia Keys with nine-time GRAMMY winner John Legend; three-time GRAMMY-winning group Maroon 5; and seven-time GRAMMY winner John Mayer with four-time GRAMMY winner Keith Urban.

The celebrity line up of performers will be covering songs performed by the legendary four on the momentous evening in 1964 as well as other Beatles classics through the years.
