NFL Superbowl Champion and now inspirational signer/songwriter Ben Utecht will star for the first time as an actor. Ben Utecht was cast as lead actor for the short film called 'Three Weeks'.

'Three Weeks' short film is a whimsical story inspired by real life events talking about sacrifices, passion, creativity and love. The script was written by first-time director Teah Strandjord and Executive producer Mike Kraabel.

Utecht's name was already familiar to football fans and became familiar to Christian music fans as well after Utecht's debut CD release in 2009 titled Ben Utecht. Ben Utecht  album contains 12 tracks and features Ben's singing talent.

Ben stepped into acting position on June 29, 2012 when the filming for 'Three Weeks' started. The filming was short but very productive. Filming ended just yesterday, July 1^st, 2012.

Teah Strandjord commented Ben Utecht's acting skills via her social network with words, '@BenUtecht is doing an amazing job acting."
