NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 13, 2024) – Singer/songwriter/survivor Benny DiChiara, lead singer and primary songwriter of the chart-topping indie Christian Rock band, Empowered, will return for the fourth consecutive year to the International Christian Media Convention (NRB 2024), formerly known as the National Religious Broadcasters Convention.

While in Nashville, Tennessee, for the event, which will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center February 20-23, 2024, DiChiara will interview and meet with a wide variety of Christian journalists from around the world, sharing his powerful testimony of surviving a traumatic brain injury that nearly took his life and his capacity to create music. Instead, he astonished doctors with a rapid and nearly full recovery, and the man who was once at the edge of life is now full of purpose and divine presence.

“I am so excited to be attending the upcoming NRB 2024," says DiChiara. "This will be my fourth year at the convention, and I have enjoyed every one of them. It has become like a homecoming of sorts for me—a gathering of friends, and an opportunity to meet new friends as well."

DiChiara's appearance at NRB 2024 comes on the heels of a busy year in 2023 for him and his band, who were recently named the December 2023 Featured Artist of the Month by Christian Mix 106. In the Fall of 2023, DiChiara and Empowered co-headlined the Rockin' Your Soul Concert Series in Joplin, MO, where they performed songs from their latest release, Yahweh Nissi, and had the opportunity to pray with many in the crowd during an unexpected mid-show power outtage.

DiChiara and Empowered's latest EP, Yahweh Nissi (Slingshot Records) includes the No. 1 hit single, "I'll Meet You There (Daddy’s Song)," and the current single, "Jesus Can Heal the World," both of which DiChiara co-wrote with the record's Dove Award-nominated producer, Mikey Howard (7eventh Time Down and Love Journey Music).
