‘Beyond Good and Evil 2' Release Date, News: Game Not Arriving This Year, Predecessor Game Free This Month
New details on Ubisoft's "Beyond Good and Evil 2" have surfaced and as per reports, players will not be able to see the game yet this year. Also, its predecessor is set to be free this October.
Ubisoft's Michael Ancel has verified that the game has started its pre-production at the studio, Trusted Reviews has learned. In this regard, players are not see to see the game for "a couple of years" at the earliest, as per the publication. It is added that the studio is bound to craft the project from scratch, after its production was held back in 2008.
As far as the game itself is concerned, players, in general, are expecting something unique from the game sequel. According to the publication, players are interested to explore the game's established realm, which incorporates a vivid view of the character's origins. It is added that the inclusion of dynamic player options and voice-acting fosters a deeper impact to the players' progress in the game.
In other news, "Beyond Good and Evil" is set to be free this October, Polygon has learned. As per the publication, the studio is giving the game to Ubisoft Club subscriber throughout the month. This is in honor of the Studio's 30th anniversary this year. Players can secure a Windows PC copy of the game easily, which is compared to signing up for a Uplay account. This is set to last until mid-November.
Developed by Ubisoft, "Beyond Good and Evil" was initially released in 2003. The studio is yet to confirm details on the release date of the sequel.
