Billy Graham Hospitalized With Respiratory Problem: Evangelist is in Stable Condition

North Carolina evangelist Billy Graham recently went to the Asheville hospital for treatment of his respiratory problems. He checked in to the hospital on Thursday morning and is expected to be released in a day or two. The doctors confirmed that this was not a life threatening issue but it was something that needed to be treated at a hospital.

Graham's son and daughter Franklin and Anne have told the press on several occasions that Billy's health has been very strong for a person of his advanced age. He has been admitted to the hospital several times for small ailments, but nothing out of the ordinary for someone of his age. Although he cannot see or hear very well anymore, his children say that his mind is still sharp.

Graham recently celebrated his 95th birthday in North Carolina with guests such as Sarah Palin, Ricky Skaggs and Rupert Murdoch.

Graham released his last testament to America in the form of a video called "My Hope" that debuted at his birthday party in Asheville. The video also was shown on Fox News and was seen by millions of people on more than 500 local TV stations around the country. Palin made comments at his birthday party that the world needed to hear Graham's message of hope now more than ever.
