Billy Graham Named One of the Top Ten Most Respected Men In The United States for the 57th Time
The Reverend Billy Graham has been christened one of the top ten most respected men in the United States of America.
According to the annual Gallup survey the American people chose the legendary Christian televangelist for the 57th time.
Gallup, revealed the outcome of its "Most Admired Man" and "Most Admired Woman" lists for 2013 noted, "Graham has appeared in the top 10 list far more often than any other man, making his 57th appearance this year. He has never finished first, a spot typically taken by the sitting president, but has finished second on numerous occasions. Ronald Reagan has the second most top 10 finishes, but his 31 such finishes are 26 fewer than Graham's."
Graham just recently celebrated his 95th birthday, however, he's been in and out of the medical center recently and family and friends have revealed that his energy is declining.
His daughter Ruth Bell Graham spoke about her father's ailments after she visited him in the hospital.
"His vital signs are very good, he's very strong, but his body is just wearing out, you know, it's a lot of miles on that body," said Ruth.
Ruth Graham will soon write a book regarding clemency, featuring lessons she said she learned from her father.
According to Gallup, Former First Lady and Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton was announced by the study as the "Most Admired Women" in 2013. This the 12th consecutive year that Mrs. Clinton was on the survey.
President Barack Obama was also named the "Most Admired Man" of 2013. This was the President Obama's 6th uninterrupted victory in the Gallup's poll.
