'Binding Of Isaac' iOS News Update: Game Set To Launch Soon

Nicalis' "The Binding of Isaac: Afterbith" is set to come to iOS soon, as per reports.

Apple users are bound to gain access to the game, Game Spot has learned. According to the game's official webpage, Nicalis' Tyrone wrote that coveringthe most important part f Afterbith, he wanteed to reiterate that it was the definitive version of Isaac.

"It's not just mods, the new items, enemies, bosses, and ending conclude this chapter of Isaac," Tyrone said. "Oh yeah, and achievements, too," he added.

As per the game's webpage, the game also includes new features, along with their effects. A case in point is Little Horn, which damages on collision and creates a special tear that instantly kills a non-boss enemy. Another is Poke N'Go, whose effect is an X chance of spawning a friendly enemy on first room visit.

Another feature is Brown Nugget, which can be recharged in-game. It spawns a fly turret thru selcting an enemy in radius and then shoots at it once per x frames.

Along with the aforementioned features, "The Binding of Isaac" is also set to see evolved bosses. As per the game webpage, players can see all-new designs with new art and behaviors, while palette swaps or additional attacks on an existing boss are inaccessible.

Previously, Apple rejected the game's iOS release, according to Game Spot. As per the publication, the game has themes, which do not coincide with those of the company. The game shows violence and abuse towards children, as the character is a child who must escape his mother after the voice of God tells her that he be sacrificed.

Developed by Nicalis, "The Binding of Isaac" was initially released in 2011.
