NBC's "Blindspot" season 2 episode 6 sees Weller and Nas in a hunt while Jane goes on a mission. Also, series executive producer Martin Gero revealed Douglas Winter's introduction, as per reports.

As per Carter Matt, episode 6' synopsis reveals that Weller and Nas are set to chase a fugitive whistleblower in Bulgaria. According to Blasting News, the fugitive is someone involved in an illegal operations of a certain organization. Also, Jane is heading on a "Sandstorm" mission with Roman. The episode also sees Reade and Zapata as they face an urgent issue.

Executive producer Gero also promised that Winter will be introduced in "Blindspot" season 2 episode 6. In his interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gero said that the audience actually got to meet Winter next week, adding that the character was played by PJ Byrne, who delivered their funniest guest star performance since Rich DotCom, who will return the week after.

Previously, Gero also explained that Sullivan Stapleton's Kurt Weller was very much interested in the Mayfair files, which serve as his final link to his former boss. As per the executive producer, the agent wants to decode the files as a personal task.

"The contents, once they figure out what the black hole is, should feel like Mayfair knew than they even understood, so he kind of becomes obsessed with it tracking down," Gero said.

According to Gero, all of the stuff that had not been decoded on Mayfair's drive, Mayfair had been having trouble decoding, adding that that was as far as Mayfair had taken the work.

"Blindspot" airs every Wednesday on NBC.
