Jane Doe's loyalty will further be tested in the upcoming episode of "Blindspot" season 2.

In episode 9, Jane has to warn her old team to act before it is too late as the terrorist organization led by her family launches an attack. It can be recalled that in episode 8, Jane was caught in the clash between the FBI and her old organization, Sandstorm.

Titled "Why Let Cooler Pasture Deform," the new episode follows Jane as she betrays both her family and her organization.

The official synopsis for the episode reads, "After Jane discovers that Sandstorm is gearing up for an imminent attack, she risks everything to send a secret SOS to her FBI team."

It appears, however, that the situation will get more complicated than that because even with Jane giving the FBI a heads up, the terrorist group is already one step ahead. The preview for the episode also shows Jane tightly strapped into a chair while Shepherd initiates a massive explosion. The clip also shows Patterson sending her team a warning, saying, "They knew we were coming, they knew everything!"

Based on the preview, it looks like Shepherd knew all along that Jane was going to betray Sandstorm. She also appears to be using her as a bait to trick her team.

Episode 9 will also follow Jane's brother, Roman, as he gets torn between his loyalty to his mother, Shepherd and Jane.

"Blindspot" season 2, episode 9 airs Nov. 16 on NBC.
