Pretty Little Liars star Vanessa Ray is joining the Blue Bloods Season 4 cast as a reoccurring character. Ray will transform from deviant Cece Drake to rookie cop Edit "Eddie" Janko.

She's fresh out of the police academy and "eager" to be Jamie Reagan's new partner.

"All of a sudden, Jamie's the training cop," Will Estes, the actor who plays Jamie told TV Guide. "That was a lot of fun for me."

Ray's character will be quickly introduced in tonight's premiere. According to TV Guide their first assignment is protecting a cop killer. New to the force I'm sure Eddie won't be happy watching over someone who kills people in her line of work, but she'll have to learn being a good enforcer of the law may take a few compromising "swallow-your-pride" moments.

As for potential sparks between the two best-looking cops on TV, Estes admits "they should hit it off as much as two people who are partners can."

That kind of thing, you can't learn at the Academy.
