Boardwalk Empire Season 4 Episode 9 "Marriage and Hunting" [WATCH NOW] [FULL RECAP] Boardwalk Empire Season 4 Spoilers

Boardwalk Empire aired its 9^th episode of season 4 yesterday and the tensions continue to brew between Chalky White and Nucky Thompson. If you missed yesterday's episode you can check it down below.

"Marriage and Hunting" kicked off with Van Alden's wife criticizing the state of their home and Alden's paycheck. While on a run for Dean O'Banion, Alden learns that the customers are the Capone brothers and they are looking for help in the assignation of O'Banion. Alden takes the job, which pays $1000, but he can't get the job done because the next day a couple of iron salesmen attack him at the florist's store. Alden is no causality; he shoots all three men dead with gun he intended to use on O'Banion.

The next day O'Banion confronts Alden about what happened at the store and about one of his men who was killed earlier in the season. Tired of being a doormat to O'Banion, Alden tells O'Banion straight up that Capone shot the man in his crew and bout his past as a prohibition agent and how he murdered his partner, along with numerous other men.

Afterwards, O'Banion goes out front of the store to attend to customers that end up being his assassins. Alden comes out front stepping over O'Banion's dead body and takes $1000 from the cash register and heads home, where he reminds his wife who wears the pants in their relationship.

In Atlantic City, Chalky White asks Nucky for permission to take out Valentin Narcisse because of the threat he poses on his life. Nucky refuses and wants to speak with Narcisse before anything goes down, saying "You move against Narcisse, you risk losing everything you have."

While visiting his daughter's future husband and mother-in-law, Chalky gets a call about Daughter Maitland. Maitland has been beaten up by Narcisse after he realizes that she interfered with his attempt to kill Chalky.

Chalky makes his way to the Onyx Club where he finds Narcisse sitting at the front table with Nucky, which is against club policy. Narcisse is telling Nucky that Chalky's days are numbered. A furious Chalky walks up to the table and tries to attack Narcisse, which displeases Nucky, "Think about think about what comes out of your mouth next, unless you want to start a war, one that you will fight alone."
