'The Book Thief' Movie Release Date Nov 2013, Watch Official Trailer Here (VIDEO)

The Book Thief is a powerful movie based in the time of Nazi reign in Germany. They have released a new official International trailer (watch below). 

The movie tells the story of young Liesel Meminger (Nélisse) after she finds her first book beside her brothers graveside. She is sent to foster parents Hans (Rush) and Rosa (Watson) while in the comfort of her new found parents world war two breaks out and Rosa and Hans shelter a Jewish refugee Max (Schnetzer).

The Book Thief stars Sophie Nelisse as Liesel Meminger, Geoffrey Rush as Hans Hubermann, Emily Watson as Rosa Hubermann and Ben Schnetzer as Max Vandenburg. 

The movie is based on the book The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. 

The Book Thief is directed by Brian Percival and was written by Michael Petroni. Producers for the film are Ken Blancato and Karen Rosenfelt. 

Filming for the movie started in March 2013 and was filmed at Babelsberg Studio in Potsdam-Babelsberg, Germany and surrounding areas. 

The Book Thief premiered in early October at the Mill Valley Film Festival and is set to release to theaters in the U.S. on November 15th, 2013.
