Brad Pitt Talks About “World War Z” Franchise at N.Y. Premiere: Maddox Makes a Cameo in His Dad's Film as a Zombie
After Pitt walked the red carpet, he and his son attended the Catch Restaurant sponsored by Samsung Galaxy; a meat packing district hotspot. It was a pleasant day for Brad and he held a drink in his hands, had a few nice conversations with his fans and posed for countless photos. He greeted actress and friend Catherine Keener with a hug and spoke to her for about 10 minutes. While Pitt interacted with executives, members of the media and fans, Maddox enjoyed the party in his own way - by hanging out with the child stars of the film, Fabrizio Zacharee Guido, Sterling Jerins and Abigail Hargrove.
Seeing these casual conversations was a remarkable event in itself, and in the film, he plays a United States worker who goes on a request around the world to try and find a cure for zombie pandemic. Basically, the script was taken from Max Brooks' 2006 best-selling novel.
When asked whether there are any plans to turn "World War Z" into a multi-film franchise, the 49-year-old actor Pitt hinted that this may not be the last of the zombie uprising to see the light of day.
"There's so much material in the book. We could only get a fraction of it into the film," Pitt said. "There's a long ways to go if we want to do so. If the people in charge want to do so."
