"Breaking Bad" Spinoff "Better Call Saul" Has Been Confirmed
AMC and Sony Pictures Television have confirmed that a "Breaking Bad" spinoff called "Better Call Saul" will be put in to production. The "Breaking Bad" character Saul Goodman, played by Bob Odenkirk, will be the main character of the show "Better Call Saul." Saul Goodman first appeared in "Breaking Bad" in the second season when Jesse and Walt were dealing with their employee Badger's arrest.
It has been confirmed that "Better Call Saul" is going to be a prequel to "Breaking Bad." The only character from "Breaking Bad" the spinoff will feature is Bob Odenkirk as Saul Goodman so far, but every time Jesse and Walt from "Breaking Bad" are in Goodman's waiting room there are always so many people surrounding them. The goal of "Better Call Saul" is to explore the world that Saul lives in. As Jesse said, "If you are a criminal, then you need a criminal lawyer.
An announcement came from AMC that said, "Plans call for Saul to be a one-hour prequel that will focus on the evolution of the popular Saul Goodman character before he ever became Walter White's lawyer.
If "Better Call Saul" is anything like "Breaking Bad," then audiences are in for a real treat!
