Call of Duty Ghosts eSports Update Coming as Infinity Ward Draws Feedback from Gamers

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be getting some eSports updates and improvements based on feedback game developers Infinity Ward get from their customers.

Infinity Ward posted on their website that there will be changes to competitive rules and broadcaster while adding LAN support for the Xbox One.

"These will appear as both hot fixes and TUs in the coming weeks alongside planned changes to the areas of Ghosts affecting all players, such as spawns," wrote senior community manager Tina Palacios on the site. "As a guiding principle, development priority is assigned to those issues which we deem to have the largest immediate impact or those affecting the broadest group of players."

According to Polygon, Infinity Ward plans to add more rules to different online modes, and the removal of split screen on eSports matches.

"We realize this doesn't cover every request made to date; only those we are confident we can deliver at this time. We'll keep you posted regarding future updates. We are committed to providing the best possible multiplayer experience we can and will continue to work on improvements to make it better.  Please keep the communication coming, thanks for your support and we'll see you online," the company posted, speaking directly to the gamers.
