'Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare' Beta News: Testing Includes PS4 And Xbox One, Not PC

In line with Infinity Ward's upcoming "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," the game's multiplayer beta is not set to include the PC.

The said beta will cover PlayStation 4 on Oct. 14, Game Spot has learned. It is also set to be released for Xbox One; however, the studio is yet to announce the date soon. On Sept. 3, Infinity Ward tweeted that players can get access to the game's multiplayer beta when they pre-order any edition of the game.

The studio announced details about the beta during the "Call of Duty XP" opening presentation and it revealed that the beta is set to be accessible on PlayStation 4, before coming to the other platforms. Right now, PC is not included; however, the platform may also have its beta testing phase, as the game has a Microsoft version.

While "Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare's" trailer was disliked by players following its initial launch, things might have changed, as per Trusted Reviews. According to the publication, players who purchase "Infinite Warfare's" Legacy Edition will also receive the much anticipated "Modern Warfare" Remastered. The latter is being developed by "Quake 4," "Advanced Warfare," and "Singularity" developer Raven.

As per the initial trailers, "Infinite Warfare's" gameplay is considered "Call of Duty" with a twist, as per the publication. This is due to its space-based nature, combined with various abilities, weapons, and environment.

Developed by Infinity Ward, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is set to be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows on Nov. 4.
